Up Pup donates 1% of our proceeds to organizations that support women, girls and dogs. We have chosen to support two organizations- Safeline Inc. and Global Grassroots. One helps local Vermont women and girls and one helps women and girls from all over the world.

Pup want to support women and girls?

Safeline strives to end physical, emotional and sexual violence against women and girls through direct services, education, advocacy and social change. www.orgsites.com/vt/safeline1/
While services are available to all victims and survivors in Orange County and northern Windsor County, Vermont, Safeline’s mission statement reflects the important fact that the overwhelming majority of domestic and sexual violence is perpetuated against women and girls. Last year, Safeline staff and volunteers fielded over 2,000 hotline calls and worked with 536 different victims/survivors and their families.
Safeline offers a wide array of services including: a 24-hour hotline, crisis support, safety planning, medical advocacy, economic advocacy, mentoring, support groups, financial literacy courses, day shelter services, information and referral and prevention education. Safeline also has a full Legal Services Department and a Transitional Housing program. Well-trained advocates, volunteers and Safeline’s attorney, bring to their work a deep understanding of the dynamics of abuse, as well as knowledge of national best practices. Services are confidential and victim-centered, based on the concept that service users are experts of their situations and should take the lead in figuring out the best ways to achieve their goals and stay safe.
Although Safeline has become fiscally secure in recent years, the worsening economy has affected us in many ways. In this time of budget cuts and belt tightening, we are serving more victims and survivors with greater needs and fewer resources. Now more than ever, we need your financial support to sustain all of the services that we provide to victims and survivors, and to the greater community.

Global Grassroots is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2004 that supports conscious social change, driven by and for vulnerable women at the grassroots level.
Our Academy for Conscious Change is a 12-18 month incubator offering social venture development skills, leadership training, personal transformation practices, seed grants and high-engagement support to help disadvantaged women initiate their own civil society organizations.
We target the world's most vulnerable women. We contend that wisdom exists at the grassroots level among those directly impacted by certain social issues. Women represent both those most invested in serving their community's needs and those in greatest need of support to manifest their solutions.
Global Grassroots asserts that deepening personal consciousness and contributing towards the common good are both essential to establishing a mindful society that will advance the greatest level of positive social change. We call this intersection of personal and societal transformation: Conscious Social Change.
